Description
One of the most popular variations of Nepal's national snack 'Momo' (steamed dumplings). 'Jhol' means 'watery soup' in Nepali. A soup-dumpling dish where freshly steamed Momos are generously submerged in a cold (or warm) sour-spicy special soup made by blending tomatoes, roasted sesame, soybeans, Timur (Nepali Sichuan pepper), etc.

- [Steam Momo]: Wrap minced meat/spice filling in dough, steam in a steamer.
- [Make Jhol (Soup)]: Put open-flame-charred tomatoes, dry-roasted white sesame and soybeans (Bhatmas), garlic, ginger, green chilies, Timur, and coriander in a blender; add water and lemon juice, blend long until watery soup.
- [Finish]: Put freshly steamed Momos in a deep bowl, pour the special Jhol from step
- to the brim until Momos are hidden.
