Instructions
- Simmer Toor Dal (pigeon peas) or Moong Dal with water and turmeric until soft soup.
- Heat generous Ghee (or oil) in another pan, fry cumin seeds, dried red chilies, minced onions, garlic-ginger until golden; add tomatoes and spices (coriander, chili).
- Pour boiled bean soup into the fried spice base, simmer a few mins to meld, scatter cilantro.
