Ingredients

  • White fish
  • Coconut milk
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Green chilies
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Turmeric
  • Black pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Season white fish fillets with turmeric, salt, black pepper, lemon juice; sear both sides briefly in coconut oil and remove.
  2. In the same pot, fry mustard seeds, curry leaves, onions, green chilies, garlic-ginger without browning.
  3. Pour thin coconut milk, return fish, once cooked add thick coconut milk, turn off heat just before boiling, adjust salt.
