  1. Boil cowpeas until soft. Slice ash gourd into bite-sized thin pieces.
  2. Put ash gourd, a little water, salt, and green chili (for aroma) in a pot; boil until gourd is translucent.
  3. Add boiled beans and thick coconut milk, turn off heat just before boiling, drizzle raw coconut oil and curry leaves to finish.
