  1. Mix Atta (whole wheat) with cumin, ajwain, turmeric, black pepper, salt, a little oil and water into a firm dough.
  2. Tear dough smaller than ping-pong balls, roll with a pin into ultra-thin transparent circles.
  3. Place on a low-heat griddle (Tawa), press firmly onto the griddle with a clean cloth or wooden press, baking both sides crispy brown while evaporating moisture to finish.
