Ingredients

  • Sugar(or Date palm sugar)
  • Cardamom
  • Pistachios
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Add lemon juice to warm milk to make homemade cheese (Chhena), drain firmly.
  2. Put Chhena in a bowl, knead thoroughly with palm heels until oil oozes and it's extremely smooth.
  3. Add sugar and cardamom, heat in a pan on very low for
  4. mins to form dough. Cool, shape beautifully with special wooden molds (or cookie cutters) to finish.
