- Edible lime(Alum)
- Rose water
Instructions
- Peel ash gourd, cut into rectangles, poke countless holes with a fork.
- Soak overnight in edible limewater (alum water) to firm flesh, wash firmly next day, boil in hot water until translucent.
- Put boiled gourd in syrup boiled from sugar, water, rose water; simmer until syrup crystallizes. Remove, dry on a rack until surface is crispy to finish.
