Ingredients

  • Bel(Wood apple/fruit)
  • Water
  • Sugar(or Jaggery)
  • Black salt
  • Cumin powder
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Smash the hard shell of Bel (wood apple) with a hammer, scrape out brown flesh with a spoon.
  2. Put flesh and water in a bowl, rub well by hand to dissolve essence from fibers/seeds into water.
  3. Strain through a sieve into a smooth juice, add sugar (or brown sugar), black salt, roasted cumin powder, chill to finish.
