Instructions

  1. Choose a green fresh young coconut piled on the street.
  2. A stall uncle uses a giant machete to chop the top of the shell mid-air 3-
  3. times to open a small hole.
  4. Insert a straw into the hole and drink as is. Once done, hand to the uncle to split in half, scrape out the jelly-like flesh (Malai) clinging inside with a spoon (or shell shard) to eat to finish.
