- Melt a chunk of 'Ma La Di Liao' (Hot Pot base)—beef tallow packed with dozens of spices, chilies, Sichuan pepper, and Doubanjiang—into the broth to create a blistering red soup.
- Take the customer's chosen raw ingredients from their basket (tofu skin, spam, lotus root, greens) and glass noodles, place them in a strainer basket, and flash-boil them in this broth.
- Pour into a bowl and serve, allowing the customer to add extra black vinegar or sesame paste.
