Trivia
[Hardcore] Indian rum version of Western 'Hot Toddy (whisky with hot water)'. Indian winters (especially Delhi/Himalayan foothills) are colder than imagined, many homes lack heating, so prized as 'medicine' forcibly warming body from inside. Especially national rum 'Old Monk' has strong vanilla aroma, so making it hot multiplies aroma manifold; drinking this before sleeping at start of a cold is Indian men's folk remedy.
