  4. Villages in Nagaland state bordering Myanmar, Northeast India. During celebrations/guests, 'Zutho' pots handmade in each home are opened.
  5. Liquid fermenting crushed sprouted rice (rice malt) adding boiling water with natural yeast for days is cloudy white, bubbling with slight carbonation foam.
  6. Upon order, scooped generously with dipper including gooey rice components from bottom into rustic wooden vessels like halved bamboo.
  7. Bringing face to glass, Amazake-like fermented rice aroma and fruity strong sour smell reminding of cider (apple cider) or yogurt pierce the nose.
  8. Put mouth directly to wooden vessel, slurping 'zuzu' audibly the cloudy liquid.
