Trivia

[Hardcore] 'Mudde' means 'chunk' in Kannada. Soul food Karnataka farmers ate every morning to endure harsh physical labor under blazing sun. Unlike white rice, doesn't cause post-meal sleepiness, stabilizing blood sugar; recently urban elites enthusiastically eat it for diabetes prevention/diet purposes. Swallowing without chewing is very logical ancestors' wisdom 'because it's too sticky and clings to teeth'.

Eating tips & etiquette

[Unique Eating] Never chew with teeth! Tear small with fingers, dunk heavily into spicy curry soup, 'swallowing via throat-feel' directly is South Indian iron rule!
