Ingredients

  • White bread(thin-sliced)
  • Ice cream(favorite flavor)
  • Frying oil

Instructions

  1. [Authentic Recipe]
  2. [Ice Cream Prep] Scoop vanilla, chocolate, taro, or Swiss chocolate ice cream into rounds, re-freeze solidly in the freezer.
  3. [Wrapping] Prepare
  4. thin slices of sandwich bread (crusts removed).
  5. Place solid ice cream in the center of one slice, cover with the other.
  6. Use a special round mold (or bowl edge) to press the edges 'firmly', cutting out a round shape while completely sealing the edges of the two slices together (forms a UFO shape).
  7. Put this back in the freezer to freeze the bread solidly.
  8. [Frying] Drop the frozen bread into hot 180-200°C oil.
  9. Before the ice cream inside melts, flash-fry for just '10-
  10. seconds' until the outer bread turns golden and crispy. Drain and serve immediately.
