Trivia

[For Everyone] A gorgeous seafood dish almost guaranteed to be served on a large round plate at Taiwanese weddings and traditional banquets. Has an intense garlic aroma, but steaming rounds it off mellowly. It's Taiwanese common knowledge that the true star is the 'glass noodles (Dongfen) laid underneath' catching all the shrimp umami.

Eating tips & etiquette

[Unique Eating] Before eating the shrimp, slurp the golden glass noodles at the bottom—having absorbed 'shrimp extract and garlic soy' to the limit—eating a whole bowl of rice just with this!

Allergen

Shrimp, Soy, Wheat (from soy sauce)
