- Roll into walnut-sized balls, flatten slightly, and place on a baking sheet. Press a peeled almond (or hazelnut) firmly into the center of each.
- Bake at 180°C until golden. Meanwhile, make a syrup with sugar, water, and lemon juice. Immediately after taking the baked cookies out of the oven, pour the hot syrup all over and let absorb for hours.
