- Soak glutinous rice.
- Dice pork, dried shiitake, fried shallots, and dried shrimp; fry with soy and Five-Spice to make a rich meat sauce (Rou Zao).
- Fry the rice with a bit of the meat sauce broth.
- In a small cylindrical tube, pave the bottom with the meat sauce, shiitake, and half a boiled egg.
- Pack the seasoned sticky rice tightly on top.
- Steam for 30-
