Trivia
A major trait of Nepali Achars (sauces) is that, unlike Indian ones steeped in oil long-term, they are mostly fresh: 'making only what's eaten that day by grinding aromatically roasted seeds (sesame etc.) on stone'.
Eating tips & etiquette
Classic to dip Momo generously, but mixing a little into white rice envelops the rice in sesame's rich fat and roasted aroma, becoming a 'furikake paste' that drives endless bowls of rice alone.
