Description
The dried form (shell-on or peeled) of 'Longan', a tropical fruit similar to lychee. Medically considered to 'replenish Qi/blood and induce deep sleep'. Like Monk Fruit or Goji, it is heavily used as a spice in Chinese soups and hot pots to extract 'elegant, fruity sweetness and depth' without using sugar.
