Trivia
Marked by red boxes depicting a Phoenix. The exquisite balance between the intense alcohol attack and the sweetness that follows cuts right through meat dish greasiness.
Eating tips & etiquette
Often overshadowed by Moutai and Wuliangye, but many Chinese liquor connoisseurs rate 'Xifengjiu as the ultimate balance'. The rattan basket called 'Jiu Hai' acts like Western oak barrels, leaking no liquor but allowing air to pass.
