Cultivated in Northern China (esp. Shandong), similar to JP long scallions (white scallions) but giant—sometimes reaching an adult's arm thickness and over 1 meter long (Zhangqiu Da Cong is famous). Low in heat, fruity sweet and watery even eaten raw. Wrapped in Peking Duck or gnawed raw.
