Trivia
[Hardcore] 'Boti' originally is a generic term for 'upward knives fixed by stepping on them' used in Bengal etc. South Indian cooking absolutely requires 'freshly grated raw coconut'; the 'juicy sweetness and moisture' unattainable with dried coconut determines dish quality, so every home invariably has it.
Eating tips & etiquette
[Unique Usage] Like a South Indian mother, sit on the floor chatting, mindlessly continuing to scrape coconut, building a pure white snow mountain over the bowl!
