Trivia

[Hardcore] 'Sil' means board, 'Batta' means stone. In rural India or meticulous restaurants, this Sil Batta is an absolutely active tool even today, as 'mixer's high-speed rotation heat kills spice aroma'. The taste of chutney made on this stone is scientifically proven more delicious than a mixer's.

Eating tips & etiquette

[Unique Usage] Intentionally use this heavy stone board for 30 mins instead of an electric mixer to grind spices, tossing the 'ultimate aroma paste' with absolutely zero aroma loss into the pot as curry foundation!
