Ingredients

  • Milk(or Milk powder)
  • Sugar
  • Ghee
  • Cardamom
  • Pistachios
  • Almonds

Instructions

  1. Simmer milk on low for hours, evaporate moisture to make solid 'Khoa (Mawa)' (*Can quick-make by mixing milk powder, milk, Ghee in microwave).
  2. Put Khoa, sugar, cardamom powder, Ghee in a pot on low, knead well until dough pulls from pot sides.
  3. Pour into a buttered flat tray, flatten surface. Top with crushed pistachios/almonds (or edible silver foil: Vark), cool to set, slice into squares/diamonds to finish.
