Ingredients

  • Makhana(Fox nuts)
  • Milk
  • Sugar
  • Ghee
  • Cardamom
  • Saffron
  • Pistachios
  • Almonds

Instructions

  1. Put Makhana (fox nuts) in a pan, roast crispy on low with a little Ghee, coarsely crush half.
  2. Boil milk in a pot, add roasted Makhana, cardamom powder, saffron, simmer on low.
  3. When Makhana absorbs milk crumbling softly and milk thickens, add sugar, scatter chopped pistachios/almonds to finish (delicious warm or chilled).
